1960s Crochet Knit Long Black Dress

Who says a little black dress has to be short to be sexy? 'LBD' in this case stands for 'Long Black Dress', but we certainly don't think anything is lost in translation, and any way you interpret it, this is one hot little number. A long sleeveless column dress, simply styled with a rounded neckline, becomes unabashedly mesmerizing in an open crochet knit fabric that becomes more revealing the more it's stretched. Made by Picardo Knits, this baby is the bad-girl version of your good ol' St. John, and makes no bones about it.  Zippered closure up the back, and obviously unlined, it's in excellent condition.  Flat unstretched measurements are bust 30", waist 26", hip 32", shoulder 13", length 51".  We're showing it on a dress form with measurements of 36-27-37, or a solid modern 6, and you can see how 'open' the knit is stretched to those measurements. $165
