1980s Bob Mackie Black Silk Evening Gown

Sure, we know.  When you hear the name 'Bob Mackie', you think glitter and glitz - bugle beads and sequins.  Mackie is certainly all that, but this gown proves that Mackie's designs had a more subtle side as well.  Cut in a supple, lightweight black silk crepe de chine, this dress is definitely high style in a classic vein. Ultra glamorous and almost Grecian in design with its ruched and knotted bodice, and a long column falling from the modified empire waist.  It flaunts a seductive sculpted sweetheart neckline and the bodice is boned and lined in china silk, with a interlining for structure. Entirely self lined in the same silk crepe, it has a back zipper closure and is slit to mid thigh on the left. This dress is going to make an entrance every time you wear it. Bust 36", waist 26", hip 36",  length 57"  Excellent condition  $625
