1980s Black Sequined One Shoulder Gown

Jerseys, knits and other curve hugging fabrics were the signature of the late Seventies and early Eighties. Though probably more likely to have appeared on the dance floor of a disco than that of a high school gymnasium, this dress none-the-less has that Saturday Night Fever meets the Class of '79 prom vibe. Black sequins abound on a moderately stretchy knit fabric, cut in a long tube sheath, one-shouldered design with a long left sleeve. The dress slips on over the head with no closures, is unlined, with a 27" slit up the left leg.  Flat, unstretched measurements are - bust 36", waist 30", hip 38", sleeve 23", length 56". The measurement of the diagonal opening from shoulder to underarm is 15" with no stretch.  Labeled Climax of California by David Howard, its in excellent condition.  $145
