1950s Navy Silk Dress with Beaded Collar

Circa late 1940s - early 1950s, the cut of this shapely navy blue silk shantung dress is slim fitting, with an extended pleated pocket at the hip.  Bodice is cut with a short dolman sleeve, a front zipper closure, and a collar accented with faux pearls and rhinestones. The dress is unlined, and we found a couple of pinholes in the skirt, visible when held against the light, an issue which would be moot if one were to wear the appropriate undergament (ie, a dark colored half slip or full slip) with this dress. Additionally, there are a couple of the pearls missing on the collar (pictured below). Bust measures 36", waist 27", hip 35". sleeve center back to end of sleeve 16", length 39". Labeled Emile, still quite beautiful and wearable even with the aforementioned issues.  $125
