1960s Broadtail Jacket with Chinchilla Scarf

The shorter cut and deep collar gives this black broadtail jacket a modern vibe, and the grey/black chinchilla scarf provides the perfect touch of glam.  The scarf anchors to the collar of the jacket with a snaps, so the jacket can be worn without scarf. There are also snaps at around the hem of the jacket, but the piece that snapped there is gone. Dolman cut, bracelet length sleeve. Closes with a fur hook mid lapel, inseam pockets in front. Bust measures 40", length center back is 22", sleeve center back to end of sleeve is 28" the chinchilla scarf is backed with black velvet, measures 44" long by about 3" wide, and bears a label from Dengayle Furs, which was located in the Hotel Del Coronado back in the day. The jacket also has a matching persian lamb muff/purse, shown below, offered separately here. Circa mid 1960s, it has the former owner's initials embroidered in black on the black satin lining. Excellent condition, and professionally cleaned and glazed. $355
