1920s Embroidered Pink Silk Pajamas

From the Jazz Age, this gorgeous silk pajama is rendered in a semi sheer, lightweight blush pink silk crepe de chine, with an art deco embroidery in black and pink silk floss. The tabard style top is totally open on the sides, with a silk ribbon tie at the hip joining the  front and back.  The pajama pants are cropped, with a low, dropped rise, and a drawstring waist.  They are cut in two pieces -  a front and a back section, that are stitched together down the side seam, with no crotch seam.  The only issues are a couple of holes in the lower right corner of the front, and book matched holes on the right rear corner (it appears that the top was folder when the damage occurred, so both sides got it - pictured below), and the floss has come unstitched in a couple of areas.  Still and all, a remarkably beautiful set, in very wearable condition.  The top measures 42" across at the bust and is 27" long, shoulder to hem. The waist on the pants, measured flat is 40", will gather down to fit almost any waist measurement, the rise is 17" waist to crotch, 15" inseam, 32" total length, waist to hem.  $215
