1970s Stephen Burrows Denim Jeans

The designer jean phenomenon grew to epic proportions in the 1970s, as one designer after another jumped on the denim jean train, plastering their names on the fanny of nearly every booty in the free world.  So it should come as no surprise that Stephen Burrows slapped his name on a pair, too, but ever the individual, Burrows signed his jeans on the waistband rather than the tush. Direct to you from the days of Studio 54, dark blue denim is contrast stitched in white - triple top stitched on the outer seam and back yoke seam (which is curved rather than vee'd) - giving these jeans a youthful, almost nautical vibe.  Pocket free except for one welted coin pocket just below the waistband, the line is sleek and slim with straight cut legs and a moderate 11" rise.  The waistband is frayed at the top in two places, but we think it only adds to the charm of these jeans.  Waist 25", hip (bottom of  the zipper) 36", inseam 29.5". Excellent condition except for a bit of whiskering and fading on the seat and the above mentioned frays.  $105
