1970s Qualicraft Leather Platform Clog with Wood Wedge Heel

Ah the things we did for fashion in our youth -  just looking at these brings back memories of trying to run clear across the campus of UCSD in clogs like these. Must have been quite a site, and a wonder we didn't fall flat on our fannies.  Oh wait, come to think of it, we did fall flat on our fanny one time, but those were in our Wild Pair wooden platforms. These clogs have a very earthy profile, the leather upper is pinked or gimped, with the decorative pinking woven into the top of the vamp as well.  The sculpted wood wedge 3.75" heel, 3/4" platform and padded leather insole all make for a very comfortable comfortable ride, so comfortable in fact, you may think you can run in them. Made by Qualicraft, the size is not legible, but the length along the insole is 10", width is 3", flat along the floor is 9.5" - they fit like an 8.5 or 9M. Wear to the insole, and some dings in the wood, which only give them further character.  $95
