1970s Butterscotch Patent Leather Platform Pumps with Gold Trim

Don't allow yourself to be seduced by the ‘genius’ of designers. Oh sure, a few exhibit true originality, but most are out there scouring vintage sources for inspiration of their ‘creative genius’. We love Miuccia and Marc just as much as anyone, but sometimes the attempt to keep up with the latest can be wearisome, and its a lot more fun wearing vintage and letting the girls at Saks wonder ‘whose it is’. Especially if it isn’t "anyone’s". These cute little platform pumps are a rich butterscotch colored patent leather, accented by a thin gold rope chain running across the throat, and between the platform and vamp and the heel and the heel cup. Made for the May Company department store in Los Angeles, they have a 3/8" platform and a 3.25" heel, are a size 7N and in excellent condition except for a pinhole at the inside edge of each shoe. sold
