1970s Tomboy Denim Pant Suit

Some time ago we came across an article about pairing denim pieces - what's okay and what isn't okay.  Why we keep reading these stupid fashion opinions is a good question. Maybe it's just so we can make a point of making that fashion faux pas just for the hell of it. But for those who are phobic about inappropriate denim pairings, we offer this adorable pantsuit as your key to denim freedom.  The jacket is a slim cut, two button classically styled blazer with a wide notched lapel and a vented back.  Two patch pockets at the hip and one faux breast pocket are piped in a ticking fabric in white, navy, pale blue and red.  Riding at the natural waist, the pants have a wide straight leg, and sport  a faux coin pocket at the waistband.  Void of  rear pockets, the line is smooth and uncluttered, which we love because it makes your behind look less 'prominent'. Made by Tomboy of California, there is some slight crease fade on the legs, but otherwise, the suit appears to have been unworn, and is in excellent condition. Jacket:  Bust 37", waist 32", hip 37", shoulder 15", sleeve 23", length 26". Pants: Waist 28", hip 40", 33", rise 12.5". $125
